Known throughout the Caribbean as the foremost authority on kite boarding, Francisco Escudero brings a lifetime of surfing experience and research to the sport.

He is the Skybanditz company founder. Francisco's dedication to safe and simple instruction ,as well as equal rights of all riders to all locations combined with his supreme expertise have made him a highly sought-after teacher, consultant and demonstrator.

Francisco has been featured on television programs including Univision's "Ver para Creer", "Fusion" and PrideVision, Canada. He has participated in significant kite boarding competitions such as 2001 Best World Cup, Dominican Republic, The Velocity Games in Corpus Cristi, TX, The Bahamas kite race, and multiple local Florida event venues, to name a few.  He is the North Miami Beach Area Coordinator of the Florida Kite surfing Association, and he has created a network between Miami and San Juan, Puerto Rico (the "Maui of the Caribbean") which provides kite boarding vacation packages.

Since 2001 Francisco has trained many accomplished kite surfers to his standard of excellence. Under his leadership, Skybanditz instructors stay on the cutting edge of constantly improving equipment and techniques. Francisco's mastery of the sport and his passion for sharing it have inspired and informed the kite boarding community around the world.
